ZAINA'S TWO DAY INTENSIVE IS BACK - ROUND 2

Jaleh; Wife, Mother, Oriental Dancer and Teacher, Vendor, and a big supporter of the dance community at large needs our help. She has been fighting a nearly three year battle with brain cancer and is now in the hospital in Puyallup, WA. She is being treated with another round of chemo and sadly has lost some of her vision. She will soon begin intensive physical therapy to help her gain the strength needed to return home. Jaleh will be needing in home care while Jim is at work and Jade is in school. Any of you in the area who would have the time to sit with Jaleh during the times family is away, please contact her husband Jim (see below).

As you might imagine, Jaleh having been in this business for so many years and being a loving and constant support of so many events, dancers and dear friends LOVES LOVES LOVES to hear from us. Cards and Pictures of yourselves in costume or with Jaleh, silly stories of events and travels with her, along with a donation would be wonderful, even $5.00. Dancers, consider sending one night of tips, or a gig fee - - if we all did this - the help would be immense. As you are awae, insurance doesn't cover everything, most have an annual top out limit and there is still that 20 to 30% to cover that the insurance doesn't - - and this kind of therapy and treatment does not come cheap. It can be devastating to a family and even more so at a time when dealing with a loved one who is so ill.

Let us all chip in and support this wonderful woman who has been there for so many of us in tough times. She has an indominable spirit and will great you with a joke, a smile and no doubt a story from our many "dance memories days". So, remember when she has touched your life (and for most of us she has at one time or another) and let us show her how much we care and appreciate all those wonderfully cherished moments she gives to us.
